One of my... more fortuitous finds, I must say. I was taking my evening stroll along one of the back streets of my beloved city (cloaked, of course), when I came upon a rather amazing sight. A Dunmer, dressed all in black leather, was standing over the body of a High Elf woman, a dagger in his hand. He didn't hear me, of course, and, as I am charged with the protection of my city, I quickly dispatched him with a quick twist of the neck. It was only upon searching his body that I found this interesting little book, apparently some type of guide for the elusive Dark Brotherhood. I have had my share of run-ins with them over the years, but this was the first time I had had to kill one. I knew this might cause trouble, so I disposed of the corpses rather handily (no one knows the underside of my city better than I), and kept the man's book and dagger as bits of curiosity. I'm sure there are many scholars who would love to examine this book, but, until I am dead and gone, it shall remain safely tucked away here.
