The Fighters Guild has instituted a system in order to ensure that members who wish to progress in rank are capable warriors. For this reason members seeking advancement will be required to undertake Accreditation Exams, administered by a special examiner in each guildhall throughout Cyrodiil. The Fighters Guild values members skilled in the use of Blade, Blunt, Block, Hand to Hand, Heavy Armour, Light Armour, and Marksman. Due to the somewhat redundant nature of being skilled in multiple forms of attack the guild prefers members to specialise in a few select skills in order to achieve maximum efficiency.

The guild has divided each skill into five levels of mastery based upon the abilities demonstrated by users of the skill. Listed here are the number of diplomas that a member needs to have obtained to be eligible for advancement.<br>

Associate - None<br>
Apprentice - Four Apprentice Diplomas.<br>
Journeyman - Four Apprentice Diplomas, One Journeyman Diploma.<br>
Swordsman - Four Apprentice Diplomas, Two Journeyman Diplomas.<br>
Protector - Four Apprentice Diplomas, Three Journeyman Diplomas.<br>
Defender - Four Apprentice Diplomas, Three Journeyman Diplomas, One Expert Diploma.<br>
Warder - Four Apprentice Diplomas, Three Journeyman Diplomas, Two Expert Diplomas.<Br>
Guardian - Four Apprentice Diplomas, Three Journeyman Diplomas, Three Expert Diplomas.<br>
Champion - Four Apprentice Diplomas, Three Journeyman Diplomas, Three Expert Diplomas, One Master Diploma.<br>

Several Guildhalls throughout Cyrodiil have been given responsibility of administering the accreditation exam. Speak with the examiner of the guildhall to begin your exam. Examiners can generally be found in the basement of the relevant guild.<br>
Bravil - Heavy Armour.<br>
Bruma - Hand to Hand.<br>
Cheydinhal - Light Armour.<br>
Chorrol - Marksman. Note: Examiner is usually found outside.<br>
Kvatch - Spears.<br>
