<BR>To use a Reaction, select it in the inventory menu, then tap Attack as you block a blow. To use a Move, select it in the inventory menu, then assign it to one of the available power attacks. It will trigger whenever you perform that powerattack.

APPLICATION OF THEORY

<BR>A shield can be used not just for defence but for denial. When you strike your foe, it can be used to take the ground they give.
<P>R: Breakout
<BR>Clever positioning of a shield, combined with a swift run, can be used to keep you safe from harm as you flee a non-viable position.
<P>R: Bull Rush
<BR>Putting all your weight behind your shield, you can use it to force foes backwards and follow up with your own offence.
<P>R: Shield Bash
<BR>Properly-timed, you can stagger your foes with a timely push when they overextend themselves.
<P>R: Shield Sweep
<BR>A rapid lunge forward combined with a wide sweep can see any foes nearby jumping away, or swatted backwards by your shield.
<P>A 250 gold fee is required per maneouver to train, to help fund our further exploration of the capabilities of the shield.
