There are Julienne, Melissa, Mystina and Diane as vendors. Each of them sells different things from each other. Regarding what they sell, please take a look at another page where further information is described. Also, you can let them join you as companions except for Diane, each of whom has her own specialities. There are two other companions, one of whom is Ophelia and the other is ... secret.Julienne's Alchemy![]() ![]() ![]() Tips & FAQDifference in power between companionsThe extra companion > Mystina > Ophelia > Melissa = Julienne The companions have their own speciality, so it is impossible to simply compare them, and yet there is obvious difference between their skill and power in combat. Generally speaking, Julienne, Melissa and Ophelia will fit in a game whose difficulty is normal. Please remember that the other two are so powerful that your game might be broken unless you are enjoying harder game. Melissa will fit most especially in the beginning of the game. Julienne will be suitable for a game where your character's level is a little more higher. Ophelia will fit in a more highly difficult game. Anyway, all of the three companions can not be so powerful as to break your game. Mystina the sorceress will be too powerful in common difficulty because of her deadly spells. After your character's level is higher than about 30, she may or not fit in the game at long last. However, if you are enjoying much harder game modified by adding overhaul mods or the kind, you do not need to worry that she may spoil your game. The extara one is more powerful than Mystina. I hope you will choose a follower(s) who will fit in your game. Teleportation Every companion has a crystal to teleport her to you. If you lose sight of her, please remember this. You can summon her by clicking it in your inventory or accessing it through the hotkey. Also, you will find a crystal to teleport her mare to you. Its use is the same. Combat Style & Appropriate Weapon You have the option to adjust combat style of Julienne, Melissa and Mystina. You can choose not only their the chance of attack/block but also the distance that they try to get from their enemy. When their combat style is "Melee" or "Ranged", they will not often change the way to attack their enemy. However, when their combat style is "Medium", they will often change a way to attack an enemy accoding to the distance from the enemy that they are trying to attack. Assuming that you have told them to get a moderate distance (choose "Medium") and they have both a weapon for melee and one for ranged (eg : a sword and a bow), they will switch well one to the other according to the distance from the enemy that they are trying to attack. I guess you have seen a switch like the above in the default combat style that original Oblivion provides. It is adjusted one so that they may switch their weapon better. Extra companion If it should be so hard to find the way to meet the extra companion as to annoy you very much, please post your comment on the thread of this mod at TESN. Should many users be annoyed, I would provide the answer. By the way, if you check the folder for this manual, you might find a hint... The horse that Julienne gives you You can get a horse if you ask Julienne. Then, its AI changes to the "Follow" mode so that it may come to you, and it always follows you. If you do not mind, leave it as it is. If you find it annoying, speak to Julienne, and say "Thanks, set the horse free". You will find the topic in the same place as where you asked her to give the horse. Even after you say that, its ownership is still yours, so you can still ride it anytime without being followed. |
