Stranded Light Courier



Preface: The Stranded Light, as a new guild in Cyrodiil, is not well known. Who are the people behind the guild? Names like Traven, Vilena Donton, or even the Gray Fox, are familiar to everyone. Raminus Polus or Modryn Oreyn are also names most simply know.


Those folks behind the Stranded Light? Not so much. Therefore they've been given the chance to be introduced to the public! 






 


Kanaane




 Kanaane is an enigma to behold. She's responsible for most of the new paintings appearing lately. Nevertheless, she's no mere artist; creating a Guild Guide in Cyrodiil was her idea to help people travelling great distances. Even more, she's offering her service as a merchant in Merendin, bringing with her some unique goods.




Question: A question all our readers want to have answered: Where do you get those unique clothes?

Answer: That's a trade secret. Even more so. Let's just say the idea for a Guild Guide came as a new shipment arrived. I use some adapted kind of summoning magic to get them to Merendin. They're not of Cyrodiilic origin, that's for sure.


Question: Did you came to the Stranded Light as a trader, or what was your reason to join this new guild?

Answer: For all intents and purposes, the Stranded Light is a place for those who got lost. Tesserayiel, Karashivuel, Zerreshju, they all lost their former home, and searched for a new purpose. As did I. I used to work in Morrowind, near Tel Aryion. Unfortunately as the Heart of Lorkhan was freed, an earthquake caused my place to collapse. Afterwards I was adrift for a long time, until I heard Tesserayiel. That I've got a knack for painting and trading is just my way to give back to the Stranded Light for offering me shelter.


Question: Did you know that your paintings caused quite a 
controversy?

Answer: I had expected no less. They are made to catch the eye, not fade into the background. And what better way there is than to show the beauty of our members? It's not like we've painted nude Ohmes-raht like a certain other famous painter did. Which, don't get me wrong, isn't intended as an attack. I love his pictures, even his most discussed one.


Question: Although please tell me, was the picture of Karashivuel, undoubtly some daedra, really necessary?

Answer: Ha! Be glad that she's not wearing her kin's normal clothing. Which is far more revealing than anything I could paint and distribute. Additionally this picture should show you something: Even if she's not from this plane of existance, she's a person, too. If she is cut, won't she bleed?

 Kanaane謎めいて見えます。彼女は最近世に出ている新しい絵画のほとんどに関わっています。彼女は芸術家ではありませんが。長距離を移動する人の為にとCyrodiilにGuild Guideを設置したのも彼女の考えです。更に、彼女はMerendinの商人としてユニークな商品をもたらすサービスを提供しています。

Answer: それは企業秘密です。何と言ってもね。ただ、Guild Guideのおかげで新しい物資が届いたとしましょう。私はMerendinにそれらを得る為にある種の改良した召喚魔法を使いました。Cyrodiilが起源の魔法でない事は確かですよ。

Answer: 石と目的の為です、Stranded Lightはそれらを無くしてしまった者たちの為の場所なのです。Tesserayiel、Karashivuel、 Zerreshju、皆家も何かも無くし、新しい目的を探していたのです。私もそう。私は以前、MorrowindのTel Aryionの近くで働いていました。残念な事に、Lorkhanの心臓が開放された事で地震がおき、それまでいた場所は崩壊してしまいました。その後、私は長い間さまよい続けました、Tesserayielの事を聞くまで。私は絵と取引の才能を持ち合わせていましたので、Stranded Lightが私を保護してくれた恩返しの為にこの才能を使おうと決めました。
