Kvatch Necromancers Guild

<IMG src="Book/fancy_font/T_61x61.dds" width=61 height=61>The Kvatch Necromancers Guilds exists to advance the field of Necromancy in the region. Kvatch was chosen as the site of new guild because of the number of fresh corpses available in the local graveyard.
<p>
The decision to come to Kvatch to form our first guild was a fortunate one indeed. We soon found the buried passageway that once lead to the castle, we found a hidden tunnel leading to a ruin and that ruin is now our head quarters.
<p>
We did not know until recently that the position of the Ruin is directly below the graveyard and the graveyard is on the exact spot where the worst of the fighting took place.
<p>
This impossibly rare aligment with the ruin is very fortunate for us but initially led to the deaths of Jones and Harlem. It gives this place special powers that we can use to aid us in our research. This makes certain spells and rituals much more poweful than they would be in any other location. Unfortunately this lead to a simple summoning producing a very dangerous beast from the oblivion that stayed just long enough to kill Jones and Harlem before returning to the oblivion.
<p>
After the accident, it was decided to create 2 guards to protect us in what we now call the summoning room. Jones and Harlem were enhanced and brought back to life to serve as guild protectors. They now stand guard in the summoning rooming in case any such accident should ever happen again.
<p>
Tim said that Harlems sense of humour has improved since his death and most of the members seem to agree. We think both of the departed would have wanted to continue to serve the guild in this manner. Its good to keep old friends around, we all hate sudden departures when death can so easily be tricked in to leaving emptied handed.
