Then I will need to return the amulet to Shanar's house. I hope my burgling talents are up to this. Breaking into a house once undiscovered is bad enough but twice...!

I know this wasn't the desired outcome, but it may work out better for Varo's Knights anyway. Not only will The Righteous never receive this shipment, they will need to find a new contact before they can do any more smuggling. That done, Helena wants me to help out with a troubling situation before my next assignment. I should talk to her when I am ready.

If I had killed Golent and his guards, it might have been better. That way The Righteous would never receive this shipment, and they would need to find a new contact before they can do any more smuggling.
