SKAALS TERRORIZE SOLSTHEIM!<br>

<DIV align="left"><IMG src="Book/fancy_font/s_61x62.dds" width=61 height=62>olstheim, a frozen wasteland island located northwest of Morrowind, is subject to tensions between the Nordic tribesmen who call themselves the Skaals and the Empire's presence.<br>
<br>
The Empire has an Imperial Legion fort named "Fort Frostmoth" and an ebony mining colony, Raven Rock. Skaal scouts have been sighted close to Fort Frostmoth and there have been several altercations between Raven Rock guards and the tribesmen.<br>
<br>
Let it be known, People of the Empire, that if the Skaal decide to take arms against the Empire, then so will do the Legion. <BR>

The Skaal<br>
<br>
Not much is known about the Skaal. Their ancestors first came on Solstheim during the Skyrim invasion of Morrowind in the First Era. Since that time, the Skaal have kept their ancestral traditions and live in harmony with nature. Rumors say that they transform in beastmen at night, others say they eat outsiders they find roaming around their camp. <br>

Fort Frostmoth<br>

The Fort was recently built when Our Empire found ebony deposits on the island. The temperature in Solstheim being very cold, every soldier is outfitted with warm clothing on top of their armor and is provided a warm bed. Most of the soldiers are hardened veterans who strongly believe in the Emperor and their Legion.<br>

Raven Rock<br>

Raven Rock, owned by the East Empire Company, sits on a rich land filled with ebony deposits. Since the start of the mining operations, Raven Rock grew from a small outpost to a successful colony. The East Empire Company makes sure that its miners work in the best conditions. If you are interested in working on Raven Rock as a miner, seek your local East Empire Company office. <br>
