Tired of walking or riding between cities? That you can't just hop over to the Imperial City Market District to go shopping, or enjoy a day at Anvil's beach? Travelling through Cyrodiil is dangerous and takes time. Now if you're willing to spend a few Septims, there's an alternative: Similar to the Guild Guide system used in Morrowind, together with the Mages Guild the Stranded Light brought a teleportation network to Cyrodiil.

For a modest fee you can travel to any major city in Cyrodiil left - and even a few places more, like Merendin, guild hall of the Stranded Light. And one of the few Ayleid structures safe for exploring. There you can also meet the initiator of the Guild Guide, Kanaane, who just came from Morrowind to Merendin.

To be honest one city can't be reached yet: Bruma. Due to it's delicate location and situation no Guild Guide was allowed in the city, but Kanaane reassured us that she is already thinking about possible solutions. And why is the Guild Guide a good think for Cyrodiil? To quote Kanaane: "On the one hand there's the daily life. It makes it much safer and easier to travel between cities, for everyone. On the other hand there's also the issue of security: If the need arise that a small force must quickly arrive in a city, the Guild Guide can do that. Maybe, with a Guild Guide, Kvatch wouldn't have fallen - if the Hero only had arrived in time. We will never know. But we do our part so it won't happen to another city!"
