SPECIAL EDITION!
DETAILS ABOUT MARTIN'S BACKGROUND DISCOVERED!

In the regrown city of Mir Corrup, there's an inn called "The Red Navel". Unlike any other tavern on Nirn, it is run by a red devil-like daedra calling itself "Velerya". So far so interesting. What's even more disturbing is a story having its origin there.

As one of our reporters visited the city he overheard two citizen talking about what has happened in the Red Navel: Apparently the daedra had a letter delivered to a former associate. Investigations turned out that this person was none other than Uriel Septim's heir, Martin Septim! Indeed, even a painting of her was seen through a window in Martin Septim's sleeping chamber, in his current location which we are forced to keep secret.

What does this mean? The daedra didn't answer our questions, and a Blades representive only said that "she played a role while gathering information to deal with the current crisis".

If that is true, or if Martin Septim holds a darker past than being a priest of Akatosh, remains to be seen. Yet the Black Horse Courier has the feeling that officially there won't be another word uttered about it. The Empire has weathered many Emperors with questionable pasts and interests, and it may be that this involvement in daedric affairs may help Martin Septim to steer the Empire through the Oblivion crisis. This remains to be seen.
