Hello,
I heard that you asked Raminus to get Algot's book back from me. I would love to return it but I don't have it! I passed it on to my friend Claudius Arcadia. He was in a very bad way. His daughter had been raped and murdered and he could not bring the culprit to justice for lack of evidence. I gave him the book without thinking about whose it was to get him to take his mind off things.

But then he was arrested for trying to summon the Night Mother. The Imperial Watch cannot let that sort of thing happen in their own ranks. Not that I blame the poor man entirely. They threw him in jail and sequestered his house. It will be lying inside somewhere but no one is allowed in unless a member of the Watch. Do apologise to Algot for me but it's rather out of my control.

If you do find any way to return it I'd be in your debt. I could probably advance one of your magic skills for nothing as a reward, so if at some point you gain access to the university come visit me. I'm afraid I'm too busy to meet you outside.
