I'm probably not the first person who has fallen for this. When I get out of here I should return to Alval Uvani's house and find the real ring. It's probably going to be on the same floor as I found the fake one. The real ring is not going to be in plain sight however. I doubt it's inside any locked chests either, because that would be the first place a thief would check. Maybe it's lying behind something?
