You are my last hope.
<p>
The seals are weakening and we must act before they fail. Sadly, I fear I am not going to be able to help.
<p>
I set off south from Chorrol to meet you and decided to rest in a village inn. But I was attacked! I don't know what the creatures were. They looked human but not human. I cannot describe it better. They wore ragged trousers and were pale as if they were not used to sunlight. Yet they were not vampires. I fought them off but they had heavy clubs and I fear one of them has hurt me more seriously than I first believed. I am going to try to reach you but I have a premonition I will not be able to go much further. I have left the diary on the roof of the village chapel. With luck no one will find it.

If I do not reach you shortly after this letter, you will know that the worst has happened. There are so few of us left now.

私は君に会うためChorrolから南に向けて出発し、村の宿で休むことにした。だが攻撃を受けてしまったのだ！_あのクリーチャーの正体は分からない。人間のようでもあり、そうでないようにも見えた。上手く説明することができないのだが。連中はボロボロのズボンを履いていて、日に当たったことがないように青白かった。それでも連中は吸血鬼ではなかった。戦って撃退はしたものの、奴らは重い棍棒を持っていてその一人から思ったよりも深刻な傷を受けたようだ。君の所に行きたいのだが、これ以上進めそうもない。それで、村のChapelの屋根に日記を置いてきた。運が良ければ誰にも見つかるまい。

この手紙のすぐ後に君に連絡できなければ、最悪の事態が起きたと思ってくれ。もう我々の残りは極めて僅かだ。
