Those folks behind the Stranded Light? Not so much. Therefore they've been given the chance to be introduced to the public!

It was like a thunder on a clear sky. Suddenly, after helping the Mages Guild building up a Guild Guide, the Stranded Light recruited Ahtize - a strange woman offering services which used to be restricted to higher ranking members of the Mages Guild. I took the chance to speak with her, who broke the monopoly.

Question: Didn't you run into any troubles offering spellmaking for nonguild members? Especially outside of the Mages Guild?
Answer: As you surely can imagine, the Mages Guild isn't happy, but there's nothing they can do about it. There's the Morrowind precedence. Six years ago House Telvanni was allowed to offer the same services as the Mages Guild. Additionally, and that's important, it was the Mages Guild who broke the rules. I am merely correcting them.

Question: What do you mean? Which rules did the Mages Guild break?
Answer: The Mages Guild has to offer free education and services to all people. That's what Galerion had in mind, and that's why there were some laws in their favor passed. Traven did not care about them. He closed the Arcane University after bringing some common services together there, but that disconnected the people of Cyrodiil from some basic services. A few years ago you could create enchantments and new spells in every guild hall, but not anymore. Traven broke the rules. Well, if the Mages Guild doesn't want the normal folk as customers anymore, the Stranded Light will serve them instead.

Question: One question I unfortunately cannot leave out, because our readers all long to know: What are you?
Answer: I am a Maormer of Pyandonea. We're also known as Tropical Elves and Sea Elves. And no, despite what some Altmer claim, I'm not here to invade Tamriel. I'm just a survivor of a shipwreck who's happy to have a roof over her head.

Question: Thanks for your time! Any last words to share?
Answer: "Last words"? You do realize what you just asked? No, I don't have any. I'm feeling quite healthy.
