Magicka and Mana Of the well<br>

The Well seems imperfect... at times it will surge with an unfettered unquenchable strength as it harmonizes perfectly with arcanus. Yet at other times it holds no power, is utterly devoid. I know not why this is so. The matrices I coalesced within the binding motion of the spell when I created the vortex stones were perfect. Their precise positioning at the top and sides of the room were calculated with utmost precision. The overall magical craftsmanship is beyond anything I have ever seen performed by others who call themselves mage's. Regardless, I have spent too much time as it is, trying to perfect it. My son grows distant with each day. I fear he holds secrets. The well will have to stand as is until a time I can perfect it. Even as it is, it is a powerful artifact, capable of incredible power. <br>

It seems that on Sundas the well finds its perfect sync with arcanus and binds incredible energy through the gap. By standing precisely atop the Mana Altar and activating the well, the gathered power is discharged into my body and I feel an incredible upsurge of power and magicka. My body, mind, and soul all seem to transcend this reality, merging slightly into arcanus and perhaps almost destroying me as well. With the mana surge I find I have increased abilities, and powers. Unfortunately they do not last, and eventually dwindle till they are gone.<br>

Immediately after I use the gathered magicka, it dissipates and doesn't return within a few hours as I had originally intended when I created the nexus stones. Instead it seems that the syncing will only fully reemerge after a full week of charging. With the well steadily becoming more active during the week, until it is completely charged. At which point it becomes useable again. Thus far testing has been slow for this very reason. This is unfortunate, but as I stated before, there is nothing I can do about it at this time.

この泉はまだ完全ではないようだ…。時々、Arcanusと完全に同調して際限なく凄まじい勢いで湧き上がることもあるようだが。そうでない時は力を見せることはないようだ。全く何も起きない。どうしてこうなるのか、よくわからない。Vortex Stoneを作った時、スペルで動きを抑えている間に結合させた土台は完全だった。それを配置した場所、上とサイドの位置も、限りなく正確に計算してある。どの魔術的な技術も、およそ自らをメイジと呼ぶ者たちが見せたことあるどんなものとも違う。私は完全を期するため、あまりに多くの時間を費してきた。息子がよそよそしい。まさか、私に秘密にしていることがあるのではないだろうか。完璧な状態になるまで、泉が保ってくれないと困る。このままだとしても強力な、途方もない力を持つArtifactではあるのだが。<br>

Sundasであれば、Ardanusと完全に同調して裂け目から信じられないほどの力を引き寄せることができるようだ。この祭壇のちょうど真上に立って泉に触れれば、集積された力が体に流れ込み、驚くべき力とMagickaが湧き出るのだ。肉体、精神、そして魂は現実感を超越し、心なしかArcanusに吸い込まれ、どちらかといえば自分が破壊されそうだ。この噴出を浴びることで私は能力と力が増した。残念なことに永続的なものではないようだ。次第に減少していく。<br>

強化されたMagickaを使うとすぐに力は消えてしまい、Nexus Stoneを作った時に意図していた通り、しばらく元には戻らなかった。だが一週間ほど充填した後であれば、また現われるはずだ。完全に充填されるまでの間の一週間、泉は確実に活性化していっているようだ。その時になれば、ようやくまた使用できるようになる。実験が遅れぎみなのはこのためだ。残念だが前にも述べたように、現時点では対処のしようがない。
